Dr. Patel has been an elected member of Abbott Northwestern Hospitalist Executive Council since 2019 and is currently Innovation Director. He also chairs system wide Hospitalist Quality and Innovation Committee (HQIC).

Experience

Dr.Patel moved to USA in 2011 after finishing his medical school in India. Dr.Patel finished his Internal Medicine Residency in 2014 from Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, PA. After residency he joined Abbott Nortwestern Hospitalists group in August 2014.

Interests

Dr.Patel’s interests include research, teaching and value based care of hospitalized patients. He is part of the core teaching faculty at Abbott Northwestern Internal Medicine Residency Program. He has presented numerous posters at National conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Apart from practicing medicine, Dr.Patel enjoys golfing, reading contemporary history and spending time with his family.
